A. M. Brzhezovsky, S. V. Tolmachev, D. N. Arshintsev, I. V. Smelyansky. Interaction of track and high-speed electric train Sapsan (Velaro RUS)
The basic parameters of high-speed electric train EVS Sapsan running gear are presented. The characteristics of permanent way of line sections where trials were conducted on EVS Sapsan train's effect on track. The basic results of acceptance trials are given as well as recommendations related to level of EVS Sapsan train's permissible speed.
Keywords: high-speed electric train EVS Sapsan; measurement track sections; parameters of effect on track; permissible speed; unbalanced acceleration
G. N. Kolesnikov, D. A. Kouvshinov. Numerical modeling of dynamic interaction of pantograph and catenary
The technique of numerical modeling of a complex «catenary − pantograph» as mechanical system with semicoercive interaction of elements is considered. For modeling such interaction the ties «only compression» are used. As examples the change of force of contact interaction depending on a speed of an electric locomotive are considered.
Keywords: numerical modeling, catenary, mechanical system, contact interaction.
V. I. Nekrashevich, V. N. Kovalyov, V. L. Salchenko. Regulation of active park locomotives and indices of their use on freight train schedules
The methods specifying process of regulation of active park locomotives and indices of their use on freight train schedules were developed in connection with introduction of new Guidelines of locomotive recording.
Keywords: freight train schedule; regulation; active park locomotives; indices of locomotive use; calculation methods
G. L. Venediktov, V. M. Kochetkov. On optimizing train schemes at passenger railway services
The method of optimizing train scheme, i. e. method of seeking different classes car combination that is the best for profitableness index with account of some restraints (train length, car availability etc.) is proposed. This method is based on principles of integer programming and considers parameters of passenger demand.
Keywords: train scheme; optimizing train scheme; nonlinear integer programming; nonlinear modification of least square method
O. A. Sidorov, A. N. Smerdin, V. A. Zhdanov. Methods of estimating functional availability of current collection system on high-speed sections of mainline railways
The methods of determining integral characteristics of current collector contact pressure based on measurement runs data with use of artificial neuron networks without direct measurements are observed. The recommendation on defining permissible train movement speed on track sections depending on current collection conditions with account of wear are given.
Keywords: current collector; contact pressure; neuron networks; wear
V. A. Ivnitsky. Seeking risks of non-compliance of predetermined route speed by accelerated container trains because of equipment failures
The optimal problem of minimizing risks of non-compliance of predetermined route speed by accelerated container trains is formulated and the methods of seeking risks of non-compliance of predetermined route speed by accelerated container trains because of equipment failures are developed.
Keywords: accelerated container trains; predetermined route speed; equipment failures; methods of seeking risks
M. M. Zheleznov. Coordinate system for solving problems of railway track monitoring and maintenance
The computational algorithm and special software for conversion of ellipsoidal geocentric coordinates into coordinate system of railway mainline are proposed.
Keywords: coordinate system; infrastructure monitoring; railway track
A. N. Feofilov. Optimizing operative control of operating companies' empty cars by economic criteria with account of their availability for loading
The method of optimizing operative control of private empty cars enabling to optimise attaching empty cars to goods at loading stations by criterion of maximal summary profit from planned transportation with account of loading resources formation time and goods cartage to stations as well as cars' availability for loading is proposed.
Keywords: private cars; rolling stock operating companies; car fleet control; operative control of empty cars; closed transport problem
I. I. Shischenko. Full-scale tests for assessment of dangerous fire factors in special-purpose passenger cars equipped with cylinders for liquefied hydrocarbon gases
The description and results of unique full-scale tests of cylinders filled with liquefied hydrocarbon gases in special-purpose passenger cars conducted by ingenious methods of fire experiments are presented.
